Welcome to the Bizpro IT Services blog, brought to you through the wonders of the world wide web. To start off with, as this is our first blog, I thought it would be a great idea to introduce myself, our company and what we do, as well as what we’ll occasionally be discussing in this blog.
Firstly, introductions. I’m Jae, Managing Director of Bizpro IT Services, a Managed Service Provider in the South East Suburbs of Melbourne. If you want to know a bit more about me, I’ve worked in the industry for over a decade, working in Corporate environments to start with before working the bulk of my vocational history in supporting Small to Medium Businesses (and some quite large ones) in their IT requirements. These requirements may range from the small, like an issue with a keyboard, all the way up to large-scale server implementations, I also know how to ride a pushbike. That last particular feat is impressive, I know.
Enough about me though, what it is we do? I mean that’s the reason you’re even here reading this blog isn’t it? You aren’t here to read about my obsession with Japanese Ramen Bars or to listen to Monty Python quotes ad nauseum. As I said, Bizpro IT Services is a Managed Service Provider, but what does that mean?
Managed Services, as stated here on Wikipedia, is the “practice of outsourcing the responsibility for maintaining, and anticipating need for, a range of processes and functions in order to improve operations and cut expenses”. Essentially, we manage your IT for you, give you ideas on how to better structure your infrastructure based on your needs whilst allowing you to better keep track of, as well as project your IT expenses. Our main offering, ProActive Care, is the fixed fee Managed Service that follows this mantra to the tee. We do have the cheaper ReActive Care, whilst still giving you oversight of your environment, this service does not include work performed by our technicians. Our other offerings include implementation and management of Office 365 infrastructure, Microsoft Azure Cloud Infrastructure, Cloud Telephony, Professional Infrastructure Design and Implementation as well as a slew of others. We are always looking to expand our services so that we can provide the best and all-encompassing service to our clients at a competitive price.
Lastly, this blog, what’s its purpose? Why is it here? What other existential questions does it ask but not answer? The way I’m seeing it, this blog will be updated monthly with insights into what trends we are seeing in our clients, in our industry, and even just internally with our staff (and occasionally rambling on about why I can’t decide whether Holy Grail or Life of Brian is the superior comedy film).
So check back in from time to time, or give us a yell on (03) 9136 8131 (please don’t actually yell, you’ll scare the technicians, they tend to startle at loud noises and social situations). We have clients from all over Australia so don’t let distance dissuade you, thanks to the wonders that are the internet and cloud servers we can remotely support anybody, but please, if you call up claiming that ‘The Meaning Of Life’ is the superior comedy film, you will have to listen to a 30 minute rant about why you’re wrong, because honestly, that’s just ludicrous.
